finding fairies

the holly tree bird's nest fairy

Much of Friday afternoon I was outside finding fairies. So many perfect hideouts for pixie people around here, I hadn't realised. Of course, you never see more than their tiny blue wings as they hide away in the little nooks and crannies.

I even found one of the Baths in the Third Wise Old Beech, but by then it was so dark I could barely see

blue wings...

so soft...and gentle...magical...you! xx

I love these -- so magical and so you. I love coming here. xo Abbey

these photos are divine. my 4 year old son was just walking past and stopped to look at your photos, asking me to make them bigger and he loves them, too!
thank you for sharing these..

You know that wave your hands about frenetically, with a burst of clapping in between, joy? Well my darling you brought about that feeling in me this morning and I can say I think I officially have a girl crush on you. hee hee.

These photos are absolutely magical. The greens-oh the greens. So luscious. The pool image-and the leaf one-my two favorites among delightfully gorgeous bunch.

Then I clicked on your playlist and the Bright Eyes song brought about the joyful outburst. Fabulously yummy blog sweetheart.

These are magical! Looking at them is like stepping into a fairy tale. I wish I could take a walk through this forest. Hope you are having a fabulous weekend. xoxo

Beautiful! I like the way you put the focus in most pictures so it looks as if the fairy was really slipping away quickly.

I'm sorry for not answering your sweet e-mail yet; I was very happy to read it, though, and I will get back to it!

Oh how pretty! Those colours! If only I could just reach through our computers and feel the damp green moss. And the little blue fairy is magical.

Anytime I wish to escape reality for a little while and visit a magical world, I come to your lovely blog.

Pure magic!! Those photos have quite literally enchanted me!

Thank you Beauty!

This is the most delicate, lovely thing I have seen in a long time. Each image stands alone, but together...*sigh*

My daughter and I used to build fairy houses in our woods...and sometimes I find remnants of things we made, or that my son made, when I am gardening...and you have just reminded me that I should make those little lands again. Once we made an ice palace...that might have been my favourite...especially at dusk when we lit a tea light inside...

You have such a way about you. Thank you for this beautiful vision. :)
